Sexy Hawkeye Costume 03-Gauntlets + Bicep Bracelet

1) I had a bit of fun making these, the gauntlets particularly- I was looking for a way to have raised bands at the top and bottom of the guantlet, and I achieved the effect by making the felt part a lot longer and then rolling it up into a cylinder before sewing over it.
2) The bicep bracelets were far more simple to make- just acrylic fabric and felt. The slide to the upper arm- on some depictions of hawkeye there are storage pouches, in others purely decorative. I decided to keep them decorative as I already had storage space for random bits and extra arrowheads (see below).
3) The central bit of fabric was ravelled, the idea being that each was a slot for a different arrow head. In the end I think that's a bit impractical for going out in, but it looks pretty dark good.
4) I'd orginally hoped to fasten the bracelets with jersey poppers, but in the end I don't think I gave it quite enough of an overlap for them, and elastic was a decent option. They do stay up pretty well.
5) The badges were made using a badge-making machine belonging to my other half- just
some silver paper for the background and a bit of purple paper (cut from an envelope) for the design.
